Åge Stiansen made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Jon-Inge Waaler sent off a good shot on target. After 4 played minutes Voster FF got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Nilsson. Jon-Erik Davidsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Aardal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. When Jon-Erik Davidsen came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Voster FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jon-Erik Davidsen couldn't finish the play. Voster FF's Kenneth Haugen suffered a sore thigh after 13 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Torstein Stang hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Voster FF's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Aarvik came free, but Åge Stiansen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon-Inge Waaler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Voster FF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tord Aarvik 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 27 minutes in the game, Tord Aarvik fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Åge Stiansen having to interfere. Åge Stiansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Aarvik in the 32nd minute of the match. Jarle Øygard struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. David Aardal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Voster FF. Jarle Øygard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Aardal having to interfere. Jarle Øygard might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Aardal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jarle Øygard ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Livoll booed when Voster FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position.
