After a defensive mix-up in Hammervika IF's zone, Stig Strande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Arne Haraldsen came out of the goal and Stig Strande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Halsebø's Jeppe Seierstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Mathisen in the 10th minute of play. Jan-Arne Haraldsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Aarvik went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Stig Strande blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan-Arne Haraldsen having to make a save. Stig Strande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jan-Arne Haraldsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Hugo Aarvik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Halsebø's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Aarvik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Arne Haraldsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Stig Strande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Stig Strande made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Arne Haraldsen. Hammervika IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Stig Strande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Halsebø's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig Strande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Arne Haraldsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Hammervika IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Halsebø were winning 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stig Strande to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Frank Bøen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hammervika IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Bøen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Arne Haraldsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Strande, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Adam Mathisen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeppe Seierstad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 66th minute Frank Bøen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeppe Seierstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Halsebø booed when Hammervika IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Husum didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Arne Haraldsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Strande in the 84th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Halsebø eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
