Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dennis Tronstad took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Jonathan Opsal fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lomunda FF's protests and gave Jonathan Opsal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Lomunda FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Opsal to maneuver through the defense. Verpe's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Truls Remmen in the 5th minute. A nice corner shot did that Truls Remmen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Daniel Bjerkli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Lomunda FF getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Henrik Øye hit a great ball. Kevin Bjørnstad struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Aslak Smestad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lomunda FF. After a rather tough play, Verpe's Truls Remmen got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Kevin Bjørnstad came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Lomunda FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Bjørnstad couldn't finish the play. Lars Bjørklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aslak Smestad having to interfere. Lars Bjørklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Aslak Smestad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Lomunda FF booed when Verpe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl-Rune Aspenes didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lars Bjørklund was the one to do the kick off. Kevin Bjørnstad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Bjørnstad struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Aslak Smestad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lomunda FF. Aslak Smestad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Bjørklund in the 63rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carl-Rune Aspenes during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Verpe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl-Rune Aspenes to maneuver through the defense. If Kevin Bjørnstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68thth minute of the game Lars Bjørklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Verpe's Aslak Smestad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roger Jelstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Bjerkli having to interfere. Henrik Øye kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Daniel Bjerkli came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Verpe's Dennis Tronstad. But to his dismay, Dennis Tronstad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Lomunda FF's Daniel Bjerkli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Tronstad in the 85th minute of play. If Lars Bjørklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 minutes of play, Lomunda FF's Kevin Bjørnstad made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aslak Smestad was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Verpe's goalkeeper Aslak Smestad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
