The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tor-Henrik Børseth during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ådalsbruk getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Tor-Henrik Børseth hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Ådalsbruk's Lasse Landro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Håvard Høydahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tor-Kristian Ramfjord charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tor-Kristian Ramfjord the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ådalsbruk's Jon Strømmen got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ole-Martin Fedje during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, one of Plevoll:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Plevoll. In the 24th minute Lasse Landro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håvard Høydahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 played minutes Plevoll got a freekick which was hit by Julius Grønli. Plevoll's Håvard Høydahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lasse Landro in the 32nd minute of play. Torjus Moi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Stokstad in the 34th minute of play. If Sebastian Stokstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Dennis Lie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Plevoll's Håvard Høydahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lasse Landro in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute Dennis Skaar suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 49 played minutes Ådalsbruk got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Nordhaug. After the first half Ådalsbruk were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lasse Landro was the one to do the kick off. Plevoll's Jon-Arne Leirvåg got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julius Grønli struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Torjus Moi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plevoll. In the 67th minute Jon-Arne Leirvåg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torjus Moi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julius Grønli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torjus Moi having to make a save. Jon-Arne Leirvåg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torjus Moi having to interfere. Ådalsbruk's Tor-Henrik Børseth got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Tor-Henrik Børseth off the ground. Tor-Henrik Børseth kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Jon-Arne Leirvåg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Jon-Arne Leirvåg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plevoll's supporters rose to their feet, but Jon-Arne Leirvåg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torjus Moi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torjus Moi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon-Arne Leirvåg in the 93rd minute of the match. The Plevoll manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Ådalsbruk to win.
