Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the game, Jon-Arne Leirvåg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Christer Karoliussen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Frode Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Vedul's Torvald Lindstad got a free kick in the 11th minute. Vedul's Christer Karoliussen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Stokstad in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Alexander Kirkevold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jon-Arne Leirvåg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute of the match Dennis Lie sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christer Karoliussen skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Stokstad in the 28th minute of play forced Vedul's goalkeeper Christer Karoliussen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Håvard Høydahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frode Syvertsen in the 34th minute of play. Frode Syvertsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 47 minutes, Jon-Arne Leirvåg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plevoll's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon-Arne Leirvåg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Stokstad to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Jon-Arne Leirvåg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christer Karoliussen. Vedul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jon-Arne Leirvåg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 57th match minute, Plevoll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julius Grønli to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Frode Håpnes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Plevoll's Håvard Høydahl didn't even have to move. Alexander Kirkevold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Håvard Høydahl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. With a little luck, Vedul's Christer Karoliussen got control of the ball when Jon-Arne Leirvåg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 66 played minutes Vedul got a freekick which was hit by Torvald Lindstad. Vedul's Christer Karoliussen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Vedul from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Plevoll's Sebastian Stokstad got a free kick in the 69th minute. Jon-Arne Leirvåg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christer Karoliussen firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Sebastian Stokstad took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Christer Karoliussen to make any attempt to save it. Håvard Høydahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frode Norberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Frode Norberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christer Karoliussen made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Jon-Arne Leirvåg sent off a good shot on target. Håvard Høydahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frode Norberg in the 90th minute of play. When Frode Syvertsen came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Vedul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frode Syvertsen couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Frode Syvertsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Håvard Høydahl was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Plevoll walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
