In the 8th minute, Tinnaa BF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lasse Landro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Christoffer Eriksrud charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christoffer Eriksrud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oddvar Grøstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torjus Moi having to interfere. Torjus Moi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oddvar Grøstad in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Oddvar Grøstad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tinnaa BF's Oddvar Grøstad got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torjus Moi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oddvar Grøstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ådalsbruk getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Tor-Kristian Ramfjord hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Bendik Stokkeland made the kick off in the second half. When Lasse Landro came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Ådalsbruk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lasse Landro couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Tinnaa BF's Emanuel Gjøen got a free kick in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Ådalsbruk's Anders Skar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. In the 74th minute, Martin Veland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lasse Landro in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Baardsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ådalsbruk's Torjus Moi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Ådalsbruk from getting a goal against them. Oddvar Grøstad struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Torjus Moi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tinnaa BF. After 88 played minutes, Tinnaa BF's Steffen Erland shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Torjus Moi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tinnaa BF reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Ådalsbruk's zone, Bendik Stokkeland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torjus Moi came out of the goal and Bendik Stokkeland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oddvar Grøstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
