Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Atle Stormoen started the match with the kick off. Bernt Bartnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Fadnes in the 4th minute of the match. After 10 minutes, Ole-Petter Heiberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bjørnåa and the Saland BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odd Serigstad in the 16th minute of play forced Saland BF's goalkeeper Edvard Torkelsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Saland BF's goal looked a bit too open when Atle Stormoen came free, but Edvard Torkelsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match, Thomas Fadnes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bernt Bartnes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 22 minutes, Alf-Inge Furset mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bjørnåa and the Saland BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Bjørnåa got a freekick which was hit by Alf-Inge Furset. Saland BF's Filip Øksnes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bjørnåa. In the 27th minute Thomas Fadnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernt Bartnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Odd Serigstad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atle Stormoen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Edvard Torkelsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Odd Serigstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvard Torkelsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odd Serigstad in the 36th minute of the match. Saland BF's Edvard Torkelsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odd Serigstad in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Odd Serigstad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Edvard Torkelsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 46 minutes, Martin Kolsrud mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saland BF and the Bjørnåa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Kolsrud kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The audience cheered when Hans Edvartsen's long shot passed Edvard Torkelsen's right side. It was 1-2, 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Fadnes was the one to do the kick off. Martin Kolsrud was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 60th match minute, Saland BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Kolsrud to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Odd Serigstad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Håvard Anderssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Atle Stormoen took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Edvard Torkelsen to make any attempt to save it. Thomas Fadnes kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 97th match minute, Bjørnåa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjørn Ihle to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute of the match Filip Øksnes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernt Bartnes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bjørnåa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
