Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Atle Stormoen got the match started through his kick off. When Bjørn Ihle fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bjørnåa's protests and gave Bjørn Ihle a yellow card for diving instead. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Severin Askeland sped through Bjørnåa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernt Bartnes. 10 minutes into the match, Bjørnåa's Bjørn Ihle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rikard Malmin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th match minute, Bjørnåa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjetil Kolle to maneuver through the defense. Bjørn Ihle hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Odd Serigstad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bjørnåa's supporters rose to their feet, but Odd Serigstad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rikard Malmin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Bjørnåa booed when Tjervaag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Langøy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Odd Serigstad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rikard Malmin was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odd Serigstad in the 26th minute of play forced Tjervaag's goalkeeper Rikard Malmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Odd Serigstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikard Malmin having to interfere. Atle Stormoen scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rikard Malmin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rikard Malmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odd Serigstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odd Serigstad in the 48th minute of play forced Tjervaag's goalkeeper Rikard Malmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stian Leknes to make the kick off. Severin Askeland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stian Leknes in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernt Bartnes saved Bjørnåa from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Severin Askeland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tjervaag fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Bernt Bartnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stian Leknes in the 65th minute of the match. After 65 minutes, Kjetil Kolle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bjørnåa and the Tjervaag players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Stian Leknes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Odd Serigstad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Rikard Malmin made a huge save. 78 minutes into the game, Jarle Knudsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tjervaag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bjørnåa the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tjervaag's Jarle Knudsen got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute Bjørnåa were awarded a corner. Hans Edvartsen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Bjørnåa's Hans Edvartsen to fire away a dangerous shot which Rikard Malmin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Stian Leknes struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Bernt Bartnes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tjervaag. 95 minutes into the match, Bjørnåa's Atle Stormoen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rikard Malmin narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
