Anders Skogstad had several of the Rønningen BK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 15 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Bastian Teige as he didn't even see the shot coming. Joachim Carlsen took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geir Langen. Geir Langen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 26 minutes, Torgeir Mjøs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rønningen BK and the Tommerviken IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tommerviken IF booed when Rønningen BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torgeir Mjøs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geir Langen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Steinnes in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, Rønningen BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torgeir Mjøs to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Bastian Teige successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Tommerviken IF booed when Rønningen BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Filip Bergheim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joachim Carlsen was the one to do the kick off. When Daniel Kårstad fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rønningen BK's protests and gave Daniel Kårstad a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rønningen BK's Daniel Kårstad got a free kick in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Skogstad in the 73rd minute of play forced Rønningen BK's goalkeeper Bastian Teige to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torgeir Mjøs kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match.
