Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abraham Nyseth got the match started through his kick off. Alan Høglund came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Geitaskjer's Andreas Skåre. But to his dismay, Andreas Skåre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Andreas Skåre struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Alan Høglund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geitaskjer. In the 12th match minute, Geitaskjer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jørgen Anderssen to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Nyseth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hans-Kristian Hjelmeland having to make a save. After 17 played minutes Kallfarnes got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Aker. Dag Nordhaug charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dag Nordhaug the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Svend Skjærstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 22 minutes, Svend Skjærstad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geitaskjer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svend Skjærstad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Andreas Skåre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Høglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans-Kristian Hjelmeland didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After 33 played minutes Geitaskjer got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Børstad. Fredrik Aker, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frode Sørby got free with Hans-Kristian Hjelmeland in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frode Sørby's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Hans-Kristian Hjelmeland skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Abraham Nyseth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Hans-Kristian Hjelmeland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fredrik Hansen came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Kallfarnes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fredrik Hansen couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andreas Skåre to make the kick off. When Kallfarnes's Abraham Nyseth in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Geitaskjer's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Nyseth in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans-Kristian Hjelmeland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Svend Skjærstad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Andreas Skåre came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Geitaskjer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Skåre couldn't finish the play. Dag Nordhaug was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Geitaskjer booed when Kallfarnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Nordhaug didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frode Sørby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans-Kristian Hjelmeland having to interfere. Alexander Oliversen hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Geitaskjer's zone, Frode Sørby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans-Kristian Hjelmeland came out of the goal and Frode Sørby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andreas Skåre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Høglund having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Jørgen Anderssen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geitaskjer and the Kallfarnes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Jørgen Anderssen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kallfarnes's Frode Sørby got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
