Tormod Handeland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Espen Laugen having to interfere. Oscar Holte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Sletviken BK's Jimmy Nedrebø got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Tormod Handeland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Tormod Handeland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espen Laugen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Kjörsvikbugen's Espen Laugen threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tormod Handeland, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Holte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Kjörsvikbugen's goalkeeper Morten Rodal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lasse Gundersen. A wasted opportunity for Sletviken BK. In the 68th minute Oscar Holte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morten Rodal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Nesland was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Leon Nesland hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Tormod Handeland took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Espen Laugen. Espen Laugen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jimmy Nedrebø hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Espen Laugen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tormod Handeland's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. The audience was convinced that Tormod Handeland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Espen Laugen was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Olav Nicolaysen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Espen Laugen having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kjörsvikbugen had won after a very even match.
