With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sturle Berthelsen in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John Wiken saved Øyre from getting behind. Abraham Stormoen hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Audun Liabø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Gjermundsen having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Aleksander Krogsrud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Wiken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Øyre's John Wiken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Krogsrud in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aleksander Krogsrud to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Øyre's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksander Krogsrud came free, but John Wiken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon Gjermundsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Audun Liabø in the 59th minute of the match. Bastian Byrkjeland might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jon Gjermundsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bastian Byrkjeland ran back to his position shaking his head. Audun Liabø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jon Gjermundsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Audun Liabø struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Jon Gjermundsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Øyre. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastian Byrkjeland in the 67th minute of play forced Lökli BK's goalkeeper Jon Gjermundsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Anders Alexandersen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aleksander Krogsrud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Wiken having to interfere. Øyre's John Wiken proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Øyre from getting a goal against them. If Sturle Berthelsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Audun Liabø in the 90th minute of play forced Lökli BK's goalkeeper Jon Gjermundsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleksander Krogsrud's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but John Wiken read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play.
