Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Terje Berggren started the match with the kick off. Kiberg's Thomas Skår got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maanobygdi IF's Christian Hogstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Olav Stålesen in the 9th minute of play. Thomas Skår received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Christian Hogstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars-Olav Stålesen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Kjetil Larsen charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Tormod Håpnes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Hogstad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Thomas Skår received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Christian Hogstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Jack Stavland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kiberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maanobygdi IF the free kick. A collision led to Kiberg getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jack Stavland hit a great ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Lars-Olav Stålesen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kiberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars-Olav Stålesen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Maanobygdi IF getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Fredrik Hjorth hit a great ball. Torvald Grytten placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 45th minute Thomas Skår shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Hogstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Kiberg fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Kiberg's Thomas Skår looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Skår to strike the kick off in the second half. Terje Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Snorre Dalhaug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Hogstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Skår in the 56th minute of the match. Jonas Rustand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Snorre Dalhaug having to interfere. Christian Hogstad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars-Olav Stålesen in the 60th minute. Fredrik Hjorth's late challenge caught a Kiberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredrik Hjorth helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Maanobygdi IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Hjorth to maneuver through the defense. Maanobygdi IF's Jonas Rustand got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tormod Håpnes fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kiberg's protests and gave Tormod Håpnes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Tormod Håpnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Kiberg's zone, Jonas Rustand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Snorre Dalhaug came out of the goal and Jonas Rustand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Terje Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, Kiberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Skår to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Rustand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Skår sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Maanobygdi IF booed when Kiberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Stavland didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Kiberg's goal looked a bit too open when Terje Berggren came free, but Snorre Dalhaug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Skår received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Christian Hogstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kiberg eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
