Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Casper Hatlem made the kick off which started today's match. 10 minutes into the match, Bastian Byrkjeland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Hogstad. Maanobygdi IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bastian Byrkjeland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Christian Hogstad made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Bastian Byrkjeland sent off a good shot on target. John Wiken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terje Berggren in the 18th minute of play. When Oddvar Jensen fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Øyre's protests and gave Oddvar Jensen a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Øyre's Oddvar Jensen got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjetil Larsen during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Øyre booed when Maanobygdi IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjetil Larsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Øyre's Casper Hatlem in the 27th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Christian Hogstad was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Maanobygdi IF through an amazing save. John Wiken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Rustand's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Bastian Byrkjeland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Maanobygdi IF's goalkeeper Christian Hogstad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bastian Byrkjeland. Casper Hatlem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Christian Hogstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The wind increased when Terje Berggren made the kick off in the second half. Øyre's John Wiken proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Øyre from getting a goal against them. Jonas Rustand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Wiken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terje Berggren in the 67th minute of the match. If Jonas Rustand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Rustand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Rustand scored 1-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of John Wiken, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Terje Berggren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without John Wiken having to make a save. After 85 minutes of play, Maanobygdi IF's Jonas Rustand made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. John Wiken was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Maanobygdi IF's Fredrik Hjorth got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 90 minutes of play, Øyre's Bastian Byrkjeland made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Hogstad was left in no man's land by his defense there! The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
