Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Haukdal BK's Andreas Aure started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Andreas Aure came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Haukdal BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Aure couldn't finish the play. Linus Langset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Audun Hadland in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Haukdal BK booed when Hestnæs BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Kopperud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egil Sollid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarl Tønsberg having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Erik Thune managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hestnæs BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Thune was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Andreas Aure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Audun Hadland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linus Langset having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Haukdal BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Gullaksen to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Haukdal BK's goal looked a bit too open when Egil Sollid came free, but Jarl Tønsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Andreas Aure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Egil Sollid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hestnæs BK's zone, Mons Røstad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Linus Langset came out of the goal and Mons Røstad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 61 played minutes Hestnæs BK got a freekick which was hit by Erik Thune. After 72nd play minutes Erik Thune shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Jarl Tønsberg and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Hestnæs BK getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Christer Kopperud hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Andreas Aure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Linus Langset saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linus Langset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Aure, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haukdal BK's Jarl Tønsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egil Sollid in the 83rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hestnæs BK's zone, Audun Hadland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Linus Langset came out of the goal and Audun Hadland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Audun Hadland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Jan-Frode Langset hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hestnæs BK's Linus Langset proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Hestnæs BK from getting a goal against them.
