Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Aure in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simen Johnson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Klomset BF's Kristian Stamnes got a free kick in the 5th minute. Andreas Aure received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Simen Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th match minute, Haukdal BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Aure to maneuver through the defense. Theodor Heggøy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Jarl Tønsberg made a huge save. If Andreas Aure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theodor Heggøy might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jarl Tønsberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Theodor Heggøy ran back to his position shaking his head. Jarl Tønsberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Theodor Heggøy went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Klomset BF getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Henning Syrstad hit a great ball. Klomset BF's Simen Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Aure in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Finn-Christian Bjørk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paul Søfteland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simen Johnson having to interfere. Theodor Heggøy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute, Haukdal BK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Finn-Christian Bjørk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Theodor Heggøy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Klomset BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Theodor Heggøy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarl Tønsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Finn-Christian Bjørk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klomset BF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jon-Egil Sjøthun in the 57th minute. Theodor Heggøy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarl Tønsberg having to interfere. Jarl Tønsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Finn-Christian Bjørk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Haukdal BK's goal looked a bit too open when Finn-Christian Bjørk came free, but Jarl Tønsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Finn-Christian Bjørk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarl Tønsberg was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Haukdal BK's Finn-Christian Sønsteby got a free kick in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Haukdal BK's zone, Finn-Christian Bjørk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarl Tønsberg came out of the goal and Finn-Christian Bjørk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Audun Hadland got free with Simen Johnson in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Audun Hadland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simen Johnson having to interfere. The supporters of Klomset BF booed when Haukdal BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Runar Sigvartsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Finn-Christian Bjørk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarl Tønsberg having to interfere. Theodor Heggøy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Klomset BF's Theodor Heggøy, in the 90th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Klomset BF. Haukdal BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
