Asgeir Schou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Geir Storås tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sövik booed when Stokka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morten Thorkildsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Asgeir Schou in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geir Storås prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Sövik's Asgeir Schou in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stokka's goalie prevented a goal. Sövik's Asgeir Schou got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Pål Fagernes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the game, Kristian Øyan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eivind Kleveland. Kristian Øyan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Geir Storås made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Sundet in the 46th minute of play. Stokka's Geir Storås played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odd-Eirik Herstad in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Fabian Magerøy made the kick off in the second half. Lars Sundet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Geir Storås made a huge save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Stokka fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Martin Tangen placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 60 minutes into the game, Fabian Magerøy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Eivind Kleveland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eivind Kleveland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Magerøy, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Asgeir Schou got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eivind Kleveland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Magerøy in the 84th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Sövik's Asgeir Schou ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geir Storås. Geir Storås yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. If Pål Fagernes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 99 minutes, Fabian Magerøy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stokka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Magerøy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sövik players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stokka.
