Henrik Lønning might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kjartan Fyhn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Hasle couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute Adam Rokstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odin Aanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frode Hagbergs short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Kjartan Fyhn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sebastian Hasle struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Odin Aanes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soknes BF. Adam Rokstad got in the 36th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Odin Aanes handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Sebastian Hasle struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Odin Aanes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soknes BF. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Rokstad was the one to do the kick off. Henrik Lønning succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Kjartan Fyhn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Lønning in the 62nd minute of the match. Soknes BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jon-Inge Øverås was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Odin Aanes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
