Kristen Kjølstad who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Kjartan Fyhn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kjartan Fyhn didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 6th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Adam Rokstad took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stian Sønsterud. Stian Sønsterud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 18 minutes into the match, Soknes BF's goal looked a bit too open when Asle Tysnes came free, but Kjartan Fyhn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Hvamsal were awarded a corner. Geir Oen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Hvamsal's Geir Oen to fire away a dangerous shot which Kjartan Fyhn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kristen Kjølstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjartan Fyhn having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Oddvar Øygard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristen Kjølstad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kjartan Fyhn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Kristen Kjølstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristen Kjølstad got free with Kjartan Fyhn in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adam Rokstad made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Soknes BF's Mikkel Rostad got a free kick in the 56th minute. Geir Oen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kjartan Fyhn. Soknes BF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Soknes BF defense, Asle Tysnes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kjartan Fyhn. The Soknes BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kjartan Fyhn should have stopped the shot. In the 67thth minute of the game Asle Tysnes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soknes BF's Kjartan Fyhn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Hvamsal's Kristen Kjølstad in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Soknes BF's goalie prevented a goal. After 72 played minutes Hvamsal got a freekick which was hit by Geir Oen. The supporters of Soknes BF booed when Hvamsal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Nordland didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Adam Rokstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Rokstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Stian Sønsterud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Soknes BF's Sebastian Hasle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stian Sønsterud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
