The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ivar Mathiesen hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Jonathan Fagervik in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Theodor Høyem, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Råen's goalkeeper Jan-Aage Karstensen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig Skøien during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Råen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Skøien to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Bendik Solstad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formo BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bendik Solstad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Aage Karstensen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Storm Grønvold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Aage Karstensen having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Bendik Solstad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Aage Karstensen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Formo BK's Ivar Mathiesen got a free kick in the 27th minute. Børge Håvik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodor Høyem having to interfere. Ivar Mathiesen was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ivar Mathiesen kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Formo BK's goal looked a bit too open when Børge Håvik came free, but Theodor Høyem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelius Kalleberg hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, one of Råen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Råen. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After a rather tough play, Formo BK's Åge Sagbakken got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Theodor Høyem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ådne Aspaas in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Råen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Arne Schau to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Formo BK's Åge Sagbakken broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jan-Aage Karstensen made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Bendik Solstad sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Børge Håvik in the 60th minute of play forced Formo BK's goalkeeper Theodor Høyem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Stig Bævre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Formo BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Råen the free kick. Stig Bævre kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Børge Håvik in the 64th minute of play forced Formo BK's goalkeeper Theodor Høyem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tor-Henrik Jønsson fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Formo BK's protests and gave Tor-Henrik Jønsson a yellow card for diving instead. Tor-Henrik Jønsson hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Jan-Aage Karstensen made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Bendik Solstad sent off a good shot on target. Børge Håvik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Theodor Høyem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Bendik Solstad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Aage Karstensen. Råen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bendik Solstad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Bendik Solstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Aage Karstensen having to interfere. Jonathan Fagervik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Storm Grønvold's late challenge caught a Råen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Storm Grønvold helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Formo BK's Storm Grønvold got a free kick in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Formo BK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
