Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tore Wollan made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Morten Eike managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thornæs BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Morten Eike was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Odd Nøkleby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Thornæs BF booed when Selvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Hustoft didn't get a good kick on the ball. Morten Eike took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Odd Nøkleby. Odd Nøkleby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 11th minute Asle Utgård shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espen Willassen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Selvik booed when Thornæs BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Hamre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Espen Willassen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Magnus Sørheim. Ove Dyrseth hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thornæs BF's goalkeeper Espen Willassen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Asle Utgård managed to get in a good position for a shot. Selvik's supporters rose to their feet, but Asle Utgård was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Espen Willassen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Morten Eike blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Odd Nøkleby having to make a save.

Morten Eike could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Odd Nøkleby made a huge save. 54 minutes into the match, Selvik's Anton Os sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Espen Willassen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Thornæs BF's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Os came free, but Espen Willassen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Morten Eike recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th match minute, Thornæs BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Haugerud to maneuver through the defense. Anders Elvenes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Espen Willassen. Thornæs BF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Morten Eike fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odd Nøkleby having to interfere. Tore Wollan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Henrik Hustoft was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Selvik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thornæs BF the free kick. Henrik Hustoft hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Morten Eike received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Odd Nøkleby came out and tried to block the shot, but Morten Eike slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Øivind Berre in the 90th minute of play forced Selvik's goalkeeper Odd Nøkleby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 played minutes Selvik got a freekick which was hit by Felix Medhus. Tore Wollan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. Thornæs BF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 96 minutes, Tore Wollan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thornæs BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tore Wollan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thornæs BF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
