Nybygget's Sverre Bergland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Storebø in the 7th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Nybygget was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Figenschou to maneuver through the defense. Felix Finseth kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 13thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Nybygget's keeper Sverre Bergland was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Kristian Figenschou kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. A hard shot 16 in the game by Tommy Storebø from a close distance when the talented Sverre Bergland managed to make a qualified save. Nybygget's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Tommy Storebø's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sverre Bergland was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommy Storebø in the 19th managed to get into a good position. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Vetle Hay took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Sverre Bergland to make any attempt to save it. 40 minutes into the game, Christoffer Valland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leikvika SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nybygget the free kick. Christoffer Valland hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Nybygget's Kristian Figenschou got a free kick in the 41st minute. When Leikvika SK's Tommy Storebø in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Leikvika SK's Felix Finseth got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Hestenes to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Tommy Storebø's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sverre Bergland was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Sverre Bergland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Sverre Bergland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Storebø in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Strøm got free with Tor-Magnus Helgerud in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Storebø in the 87th minute of play forced Nybygget's goalkeeper Sverre Bergland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Jensen kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Sverre Bergland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Storebø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leikvika SK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
