Kjartan Fagervold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casper Huse in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th match minute, Seljebakk BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Solberg to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 7 in the game by Torbjørn Opland from a close distance when the talented Petter Melhus managed to make a qualified save. Seljebakk BF's players were relieved. Torbjørn Opland in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Petter Melhus, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Torbjørn Opland who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Petter Melhus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Torbjørn Opland's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Petter Melhus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eirik Langhelle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Petter Melhus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils Østli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th match minute, Seljebakk BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halvor Vatland to maneuver through the defense. Jakob Vaage's late challenge caught a Seljebakk BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jakob Vaage helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, Vikavågen FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Vaage to maneuver through the defense. After 36th play minutes Torbjørn Opland shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Petter Melhus and just under the crossbar into goal. Petter Melhus was a little too slow when Torbjørn Opland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torbjørn Opland in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petter Melhus saved Seljebakk BF from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Torbjørn Opland to make the kick off. Torbjørn Opland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petter Melhus having to interfere. The Vikavågen FK fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Vikavågen FK's Torbjørn Opland looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 57th minute, Jakob Vaage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petter Melhus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Dagsland in the 65th minute of play. Petter Melhus came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Vikavågen FK's Torbjørn Opland. But to his dismay, Torbjørn Opland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torbjørn Opland in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petter Melhus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the game, Joachim Erlandsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seljebakk BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vikavågen FK the free kick. In the 84th minute Torbjørn Opland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petter Melhus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, Stig Alver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vikavågen FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig Alver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Seljebakk BF's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjørn Opland came free, but Petter Melhus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95thth minute of the game Torbjørn Opland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seljebakk BF's Petter Melhus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
