If Morten Hunstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laurits Gustavson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ole-Gunnar Svanberg having to make a save. 8 minutes into the match, Ören IF's goalkeeper Ole-Gunnar Svanberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laurits Gustavson. Lukas Brunborg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Konrad Rånes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Dan Fidje charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Fidje the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dan Fidje hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Konrad Rånes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Brunborg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Lukas Brunborg made a precise shot to the right of Konrad Rånes. Snaasen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 16 minutes, Andreas Benonisen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ören IF and the Snaasen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ören IF's Andreas Benonisen got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Lukas Brunborg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ören IF's Ole-Gunnar Svanberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Ören IF from getting a goal against them. Konrad Rånes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Brandvik in the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to Snaasen getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dan Fidje hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Snaasen's Sebastian Almaas got a free kick in the 30th minute. Ören IF's Frode Grimstad couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Snaasen. Laurits Gustavson scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ole-Gunnar Svanberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Laurits Gustavson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frode Grimstad hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Ole-Gunnar Svanberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morten Hunstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Laurits Gustavson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Morten Hunstad might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ole-Gunnar Svanberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Morten Hunstad ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Brandvik was the one to do the kick off. Laurits Gustavson struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ole-Gunnar Svanberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Snaasen. Morten Hunstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ole-Gunnar Svanberg having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Morten Hunstad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Snaasen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Morten Hunstad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Morten Hunstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ole-Gunnar Svanberg having to interfere. Morten Hunstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 played minutes Ören IF got a freekick which was hit by Christoffer Henden. David Brandvik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Konrad Rånes made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurits Gustavson in the 84th minute of play forced Ören IF's goalkeeper Ole-Gunnar Svanberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Morten Hunstad in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ole-Gunnar Svanberg saved Ören IF from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Lukas Brunborg could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Konrad Rånes however easily saved by the left post. If David Brandvik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Stig Leidland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Snaasen's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig Leidland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ole-Gunnar Svanberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Snaasen manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Ören IF to win.
