The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 2 minutes, David Brandvik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ören IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Brandvik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Grima's goal looked a bit too open when David Brandvik came free, but Johan Kofoed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Christoffer Henden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Marthinussen in the 14th minute of play forced Ören IF's goalkeeper Ole-Gunnar Svanberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Christian Marthinussen put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ole-Gunnar Svanberg. In the 18th minute, David Brandvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Thomas Gilde made a precise shot to the right of Ole-Gunnar Svanberg. Ören IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Grima's goalkeeper Johan Kofoed, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Johan Kofoed managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Ören IF's Lukas Brunborg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Grima's Johan Kofoed got control of the ball when Lukas Brunborg tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Thomas Gilde's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ole-Gunnar Svanberg was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Johan Kofoed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Brandvik in the 35th minute of the match. If Lukas Brunborg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, David Brandvik took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Johan Kofoed to make any attempt to save it. The Ören IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grima were winning 1-2.

After 53 minutes of play, Grima's Thomas Gilde made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ole-Gunnar Svanberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christoffer Henden scored 2-3 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johan Kofoed, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lukas Brunborg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Gjermund Ullestad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match Frode Grimstad shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johan Kofoed showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Grima's goal looked a bit too open when David Brandvik came free, but Johan Kofoed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Haagensen might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johan Kofoed. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Haagensen ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, David Brandvik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ören IF's supporters rose to their feet, but David Brandvik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johan Kofoed breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the game, Johannes Lillegård was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grima's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ören IF the free kick. In the 82nd match minute, Grima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Lillegård to maneuver through the defense. Lukas Brunborg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Kofoed having to interfere. Johan Kofoed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Brandvik in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, David Brandvik made a precise shot to the right of Johan Kofoed. Grima's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
