Conrado Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John-Edvin Sørhaug in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Korssund's goal looked a bit too open when John-Edvin Sørhaug came free, but Conrado Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Baasmoen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars-Olav Grønningsæter to maneuver through the defense. Conrado Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Turøy in the 31st minute of the match. Conrado Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jøran Derås in the 39th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Andreas Turøy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jostein Bergland to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ole-Gunnar Brenne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Korssund's Jostein Bergland in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Baasmoen's goalie prevented a goal. When Jostein Bergland came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Korssund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jostein Bergland couldn't finish the play. Baasmoen's John-Edvin Sørhaug got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jostein Bergland came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Korssund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jostein Bergland couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noe Flaks in the 88th minute of play forced Baasmoen's goalkeeper Adrian Norheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jostein Bergland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jostein Bergland came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Korssund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jostein Bergland couldn't finish the play. Korssund's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
