Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Yngvar Hågensen kicked off to start the match. Jøran Larsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rune Thorsen. Sæbo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tor-Kristian Øvrelid during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sæbo's Tor-Kristian Øvrelid got a free kick in the 11th minute. Johannes Tronrud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald Rudolfsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Valberg BF's Yngvar Hågensen got a free kick in the 21st minute. Johannes Tronrud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkon Taule, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Yngvar Hågensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Thorsen having to interfere. Yngvar Hågensen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35thth minute of the game Lasse Myrseth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sæbo's Rune Thorsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christian Vestad charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Vestad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christian Vestad hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Håkon Taule made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Valberg BF got a freekick which was hit by Vetle Holen. After a defensive mix-up in Valberg BF's zone, Harald Rudolfsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johannes Tronrud came out of the goal and Harald Rudolfsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rune Thorsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yngvar Hågensen in the 57th minute of the match. Johannes Tronrud stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Håkon Taule's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute, Christian Vestad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the game, Lasse Myrseth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Rune Thorsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Harald Rudolfsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Johannes Tronrud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Bryhn kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Valberg BF's goal looked a bit too open when Håkon Taule came free, but Johannes Tronrud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sæbo's zone, Lasse Myrseth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Thorsen came out of the goal and Lasse Myrseth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yngvar Hågensen was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Valberg BF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 85th match minute, Valberg BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Vestad to maneuver through the defense. If Lasse Myrseth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Valberg BF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Valberg BF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
