Karl Rokne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim-Andrè Herdlevær in the 16th minute of play forced Melfjord IF's goalkeeper Karl Rokne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melfjord IF's David Rolland suffered a sore thigh after 20 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 20 minutes into the game, Ørjan Mogen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kramvik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Melfjord IF the free kick. In the 20th minute, Ørjan Mogen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stig-Inge Stokken, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Karl Rokne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ørjan Mogen in the 33rd minute of play. If Kim-Andrè Herdlevær had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Kim-Andrè Herdlevær ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl Rokne was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarle Thorud in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl Rokne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kim-Andrè Herdlevær fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Rokne having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Kim-Andrè Herdlevær in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karl Rokne, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jarle Thorud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Karl Rokne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kramvik. In the 67th minute, Melfjord IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kim-Andrè Herdlevær fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Karl Rokne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kim-Andrè Herdlevær in the 69th minute. Kristian Taule received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Reidar Dyngeland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Andreas Welde cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Reidar Dyngeland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karl Rokne made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Kim-Andrè Herdlevær sent off a good shot on target. Andreas Welde kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 93rdth minute of the game Jarle Thorud who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Melfjord IF's Karl Rokne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Andreas Welde was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Melfjord IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kramvik the free kick. In the 94th match minute, Melfjord IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Welde to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the game, Thomas Rikardsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Melfjord IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kramvik the free kick. The Kramvik players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Melfjord IF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
