Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karl Torvund started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Styve in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjetil Grønbech saved NikoluniToons FC from getting behind. Kjetil Grønbech was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eskil Værnes. In the 6th match minute, NikoluniToons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Fjørtoft to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the game, Fred Styve recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kjetil Grønbech. Fred Styve showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Carl-Rune Sandum who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Kjetil Grønbech when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18th match minute, NikoluniToons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Fjørtoft to maneuver through the defense. Jens Stephansen charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens Stephansen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, NikoluniToons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens Stephansen to maneuver through the defense. Remi Haugsdal hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 25 minutes of play NikoluniToons FC's Erik Fjørtoft was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Leikanger booed when NikoluniToons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Fjørtoft didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casper Joakimsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carl-Rune Sandum's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Kjetil Grønbech skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Remi Haugsdal fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NikoluniToons FC's protests and gave Remi Haugsdal a yellow card for diving instead. Remi Haugsdal hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Theodor Kittilsen came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Leikanger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theodor Kittilsen couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Leikanger's Fred Styve ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kjetil Grønbech. Kjetil Grønbech yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fred Styve stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Remi Haugsdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Remi Haugsdal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Markus Revheim made a huge save. Carl-Rune Sandum might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kjetil Grønbech. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carl-Rune Sandum ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th minute, Leikanger's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Remi Haugsdal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kjetil Grønbech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Styve in the 61st minute of the match. Stefan Foldnes kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Remi Haugsdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carl-Rune Sandum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjetil Grønbech having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Carl-Rune Sandum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leikanger's supporters rose to their feet, but Carl-Rune Sandum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjetil Grønbech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the match, NikoluniToons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Styve came free, but Kjetil Grønbech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fred Styve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Kjetil Grønbech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fred Styve took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kjetil Grønbech. Kjetil Grønbech dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, NikoluniToons FC's Karl Torvund got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Leikanger's Stian Selle couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for NikoluniToons FC. Leikanger's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
