Wilhelm Fimreite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olav Rogstad having to interfere. Olav Rogstad had great luck who in the 12thth minute grab hold of the ball when Xabi Alonso from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 16 played minutes Hollvik IF got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Sandve. Hollvik IF's Olav Rogstad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Hollvik IF from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, Hollvik IF's goalkeeper Olav Rogstad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gunnar Stephansen. After 25 minutes of play Hollvik IF's Thomas Sandve was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 28 minutes, Mads Dahl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hollvik IF and the Fenstad FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Hollvik IF getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Mads Dahl hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Fenstad FK's Oddbjørn Nyland got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Fenstad FK's Gunnar Stephansen in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hollvik IF's goalie prevented a goal. If Gunnar Stephansen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Olav Rogstad managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Fenstad FK's Gunnar Stephansen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 44 in the game by Gunnar Stephansen from a close distance when the talented Olav Rogstad managed to make a qualified save. Hollvik IF's players were relieved. Oddbjørn Nyland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olav Rogstad having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Cato Lia made a precise shot to the right of Fredrik Thygesen. Fenstad FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Gunnar Stephansen made the kick off in the second half. Wilhelm Fimreite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olav Rogstad having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Fenstad FK's Gunnar Stephansen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olav Rogstad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olav Rogstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Stephansen in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gunnar Stephansen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olav Rogstad was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Olav Rogstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Stephansen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fenstad FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
