Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute of the match Jon-Inge Gaarder sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Terje Nyborg skillfully saved the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Nedfjell BF's goal looked a bit too open when Krister Nordgård came free, but Terje Nyborg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Misjona IF defense, Anders Sæthre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stig-Inge Haaland. The Misjona IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stig-Inge Haaland should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Bøen got free with Terje Nyborg in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Terje Nyborg came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Misjona IF's Albert Bøen. But to his dismay, Albert Bøen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 26th minute Aleksander Bjørkås shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Inge Haaland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, Misjona IF's Albert Bøen made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Terje Nyborg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Terje Nyborg made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Krister Nordgård sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute Krister Nordgård shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terje Nyborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eilert Fløysvik took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig-Inge Haaland. Stig-Inge Haaland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Stig-Inge Haaland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Sæthre in the 42nd minute of play. Eilert Fløysvik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Inge Haaland having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Terje Nyborg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Bøen, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Nedfjell BF's Eilert Fløysvik in the 61st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Stig-Inge Haaland was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Misjona IF through an amazing save. In the 62nd minute, Sven Kile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans Westlie's late challenge caught a Nedfjell BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans Westlie helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Misjona IF getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Hans Westlie hit a great ball.
