Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olof Bergsvik in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Balder Årdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th match minute, Tromvik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magne Totland to maneuver through the defense. Skraamestö FF's Svend Axelsen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tromvik. After having played for 12 minutes, Vebjørn Sjursen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skraamestö FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vebjørn Sjursen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Runar Støen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Michaelsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Christian Sand was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tromvik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skraamestö FF the free kick. A collision led to Tromvik getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Christian Sand hit a great ball. Fredrik Michaelsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Skraamestö FF booed when Tromvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Sand didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Raymond Fossen from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Balder Årdal's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Balder Årdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Sand in the 28th minute of play. Runar Støen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Michaelsen in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the Skraamestö FF defense, John Kleppe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Balder Årdal. The Skraamestö FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Balder Årdal should have stopped the shot. Olof Bergsvik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Michaelsen in the 53rd minute of play forced Tromvik's goalkeeper Runar Støen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tromvik's Olof Bergsvik in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tromvik's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Bergsvik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Balder Årdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Balder Årdal came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tromvik's Magne Totland. But to his dismay, Magne Totland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Tromvik getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Christian Sand hit a great ball. Balder Årdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Kleppe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Olof Bergsvik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Balder Årdal was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game.
