With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vebjørn Mæland in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Max Leira saved Svalstog BK from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Patrik Vangen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Max Leira was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 10th minute Patrik Vangen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Leira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Svalstog BK's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Vangen came free, but Max Leira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svalstog BK's Max Leira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Vangen in the 14th minute of play. Bubakken's Verner Mohammad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Christian Dybdahl in the 17th minute of play. Jarl Aschim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Verner Mohammad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Verner Mohammad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Christian Dybdahl in the 23rd minute of the match. When Bubakken's Vebjørn Mæland in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Svalstog BK's goalie prevented a goal. If Nils-Christian Dybdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Bubakken's goalkeeper Verner Mohammad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarl Aschim. 37 minutes into the match, Bubakken's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Christian Dybdahl came free, but Verner Mohammad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39th play minutes Nils-Christian Dybdahl shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Verner Mohammad and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Christian Dybdahl in the 43rd minute of play forced Bubakken's goalkeeper Verner Mohammad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bubakken's Håvard Følstad got a free kick in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nils-Christian Dybdahl made a kick off. Bubakken's Verner Mohammad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarl Aschim in the 52nd minute of play. Svalstog BK's Nils-Christian Dybdahl got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bubakken's Henning Rye got a free kick in the 54th minute. Verner Mohammad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Christian Dybdahl in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Christian Dybdahl in the 58th minute of play forced Bubakken's goalkeeper Verner Mohammad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bubakken's Henning Rye got a free kick in the 59th minute. Nils-Christian Dybdahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Svalstog BK's Jarl Aschim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Verner Mohammad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Svalstog BK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Per Kielland hit a great ball. Verner Mohammad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Christian Dybdahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Svalstog BK booed when Bubakken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Hessen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nils-Christian Dybdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verner Mohammad having to interfere. Nils-Christian Dybdahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Verner Mohammad came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Svalstog BK's Nils-Christian Dybdahl. But to his dismay, Nils-Christian Dybdahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Patrik Vangen struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Max Leira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bubakken.
