Thomas Milde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Vangen, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Helderen IF's Thomas Milde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Vangen in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Helderen IF's Casper Heggem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Verner Mohammad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casper Heggem in the 14th minute of play forced Bubakken's goalkeeper Verner Mohammad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Verner Mohammad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casper Heggem in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Patrik Vangen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petter Istad charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petter Istad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Verner Mohammad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casper Heggem in the 38th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrik Vangen to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Patrik Vangen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Milde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vebjørn Mæland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Verner Mohammad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Heggem, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the Helderen IF defense, Håvard Følstad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Milde. The Helderen IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Milde should have stopped the shot. The Helderen IF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Bubakken from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
