Ken Schou came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jon-Erik Nesset could save by the left post. Patrik Horgen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon-Erik Nesset having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Flått FF's Patrik Horgen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jon-Erik Nesset narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ole-Jostein Walle in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jon Fardal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, Steffen Mørkved hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jon Fardal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ole-Jostein Walle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Forfot's zone, Patrik Horgen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon-Erik Nesset came out of the goal and Patrik Horgen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrik Horgen to make the kick off. If Patrik Horgen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ken Schou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jon Fardal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, one of Forfot:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Flått FF fully deserved thier win.
