In the 8th minute, Inge Richardsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tor-Ivar Sæther had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bjarte Ree during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bjarte Ree kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Øystein Høglund had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Andreas Øren's late challenge caught a Broem BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andreas Øren helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Otnäs IF got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Øren. If Peder Fjeldheim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Broem BK defense, Torbjørn Westbye kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Horvei. The Broem BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Horvei should have stopped the shot. If Tor-Ivar Sæther had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Broem BK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Asmund Aarstad hit a great ball. Andreas Horvei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjørn Westbye in the 30th minute of play. Asmund Aarstad kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Andreas Horvei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjørn Westbye in the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Broem BK's Inge Richardsen got a free kick in the 37th minute. Asmund Aarstad charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Asmund Aarstad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Asmund Aarstad hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 51 played minutes Broem BK got a freekick which was hit by Sjur Kjeldsberg. Tor-Ivar Sæther struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Andreas Horvei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otnäs IF. Jesper Wilson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Fjeldheim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torbjørn Westbye took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andreas Horvei. Andreas Horvei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 69 minutes into the match, Otnäs IF's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Fjeldheim came free, but Jesper Wilson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torbjørn Westbye struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Andreas Horvei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otnäs IF. If Peder Fjeldheim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 83 in the game by Torbjørn Westbye from a close distance when the talented Andreas Horvei managed to make a qualified save. Broem BK's players were relieved. Inge Richardsen charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inge Richardsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Broem BK got a freekick which was hit by Inge Richardsen. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Otnäs IF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
