If Asmund Selmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Rossebø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jan-Aage Greve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birger Skarbø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asmund Selmer in the 27th minute of play forced Lerfald's goalkeeper Edvard Sandvær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ole-Gunnar Gjertsen fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kentan's protests and gave Ole-Gunnar Gjertsen a yellow card for diving instead. Lerfald's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Finn Wibe in the 33rd minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Kentan's Asmund Selmer in the 34th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Edvard Sandvær was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Lerfald through an amazing save. In the 36th minute Asmund Selmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvard Sandvær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Kentan's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Rossebø came free, but Jan-Aage Greve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asmund Selmer might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvard Sandvær. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Asmund Selmer ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 42nd minute Aleksander Mørland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvard Sandvær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Kentan's Aleksander Mørland got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Finn Wibe charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Finn Wibe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lerfald's Finn Wibe got a free kick in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Aleksander Mørland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Edvard Sandvær was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kenneth Aagesen was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Lerfald's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Bendik Bjørkås had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kentan's Jan-Aage Greve proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Kentan from getting a goal against them. Kentan's Jan-Aage Greve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenneth Aagesen in the 77th minute of play. Edgard Rossebø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Jan-Aage Greve made a huge save. Kentan's Jan-Aage Greve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenneth Aagesen in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Kenneth Aagesen made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Aage Greve. Kentan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lerfald players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kentan.
