It was beautiful to see Værøy IL's Lennart Østensen in action when he in the 20th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! A collision led to FK Grunnfjord getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jarl Refsland hit a great ball. FK Grunnfjord's Patrik Lysaker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ask Nesbø in the 24th minute of play. Patrik Lysaker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ask Nesbø in the 66th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Bergsland in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sture Mikaelsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-7 when Ask Nesbø sped through FK Grunnfjord's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patrik Lysaker. Værøy IL's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
