Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ask Nesbø started the match with the kick off. Åsmund Evertsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andreas Helset went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 11th minute Vidar Eek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åsmund Evertsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 played minutes The FatBatmans got a freekick which was hit by Sondre Lindal. Kenneth Nærland scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Åsmund Evertsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Nærland in the 20th minute of play forced The FatBatmans's goalkeeper Åsmund Evertsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Ask Nesbø notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of The FatBatmans's Åsmund Evertsen. Åsmund Evertsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wilhelm Nilsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Åsmund Evertsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ask Nesbø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Vidar Eek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åsmund Evertsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, The FatBatmans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Christiansen to maneuver through the defense. Kenneth Nærland took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Åsmund Evertsen. Åsmund Evertsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sondre Lindal to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in The FatBatmans's zone, Theodor Langaas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åsmund Evertsen came out of the goal and Theodor Langaas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th play minute Kenneth Nærland came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Åsmund Evertsen. 0-6. 58 minutes into the game, Carl Ulset was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Værøy IL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The FatBatmans the free kick. The supporters of The FatBatmans booed when Værøy IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Ulset didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sture Mikaelsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sondre Lindal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Værøy IL's Sture Mikaelsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Tronrud in the 61st minute of play. Kenneth Eidsheim's late challenge caught a The FatBatmans's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenneth Eidsheim helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of The FatBatmans booed when Værøy IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. The FatBatmans's Åsmund Evertsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Nilsson in the 79th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Wilhelm Nilsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Åsmund Evertsen, 1-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ask Nesbø got free with Åsmund Evertsen in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Theodor Langaas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
