Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FK Grunnfjord's Fredrik Willassen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, one of Bakkehaug:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bakkehaug. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Asmund Melvold in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrik Lysaker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 14 minutes, Snorre Byberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bakkehaug and the FK Grunnfjord players grew even worse after the yellow card. Snorre Byberg hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Bjarte Josdal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrik Lysaker was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Bjarte Josdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrik Lysaker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bjarte Josdal went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Patrik Lysaker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asmund Melvold in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Snorre Byberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bjarte Josdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tom Thorud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FK Grunnfjord players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bakkehaug were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Asmund Melvold was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes FK Grunnfjord's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Snorre Byberg who took care of the corner kick. 55 minutes into the match, Bakkehaug's Asmund Melvold sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrik Lysaker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Asmund Melvold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrik Lysaker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Bjarte Josdal did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Patrik Lysaker 59 minutes into the match. If Bjarte Josdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Bakkehaug fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Bakkehaug's Asmund Melvold looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Bjarte Josdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Fredrik Willassen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Bjørk was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After 74 played minutes Bakkehaug got a freekick which was hit by Tom Thorud. In the 78th minute Adrian Bergsland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Bjørk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Bakkehaug booed when FK Grunnfjord was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Ngo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asmund Melvold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fredrik Haugerud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Patrik Lysaker made a huge save. Patrik Lysaker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bjarte Josdal in the 89th minute.
