Sturle Fosss short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Kevin Gilberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sturle Foss in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Gilberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexander Hansen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Kevin Gilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thorbjørn Valstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Gilberg having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Siddis got a freekick which was hit by Hans Bjørkhaug. Sturle Foss charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sturle Foss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Sturle Foss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niklas Aanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Håland, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 41st play minutes Thorbjørn Valstad shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Kevin Gilberg and just under the crossbar into goal. Kevin Gilberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sturle Foss in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sturle Foss made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Overbygden FF were awarded a corner. Tommy Klæboe went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Overbygden FF's corner Tommy Klæboe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kevin Gilberg quite easily take care of the ball. Alexander Hansen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sturle Foss in the 56th minute of play forced Siddis's goalkeeper Kevin Gilberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Overbygden FF getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Sturle Foss hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Sturle Tvete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kevin Gilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorbjørn Valstad in the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Thorbjørn Valstad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Overbygden FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Thorbjørn Valstad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kevin Gilberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Sturle Foss put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kevin Gilberg. Sturle Tvete hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Kevin Gilberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sturle Foss in the 83rd minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Overbygden FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Audun Lilletvedt to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Siddis's Tore Korneliussen tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thorbjørn Valstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There was no doubt that Overbygden FF were the better team. Overbygden FF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
