Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Severin Hussein made the kick off and thus started the match. 7 minutes into the match, Severin Hussein had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mons Bugge. Vinge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severin Hussein was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Vinge's goal looked a bit too open when Severin Hussein came free, but Mons Bugge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Alf-Inge Hol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mons Bugge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Gædd FK booed when Vinge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Søren Liane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vinge's Mons Bugge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severin Hussein in the 21st minute of play. Mons Bugge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf-Inge Hol in the 24th minute of play. Mons Bugge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severin Hussein in the 28th minute of the match. Mons Bugge came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gædd FK's Alf-Inge Hol. But to his dismay, Alf-Inge Hol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Mons Bugge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severin Hussein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Severin Hussein cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Mons Bugge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jo Hellstrøm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Runar Birkeland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mons Bugge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severin Hussein in the 57th minute of play. Storm Lindvik's late challenge caught a Gædd FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Storm Lindvik helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Storm Lindvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alf-Inge Hol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severin Hussein's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Mons Bugge skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Andreas Berglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Runar Birkeland in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Gædd FK's Alf-Inge Hol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. In the 75th minute, Alf-Inge Hol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mons Bugge. The goal made the score 1-7. Severin Hussein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Per-Filip Vågen put in a rough tackle. Vinge's Mons Bugge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf-Inge Hol in the 90th minute of play. Alf-Inge Hol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mons Bugge having to interfere. Gædd FK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
