The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chesthair Eagles FC's Ørjan Heien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Are Haaland in the 7th minute of play. Skytta Toppidrettslag were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Chesthair Eagles FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cenap Yalaza took the corner. Cenap Yalaza made a great header on Skytta Toppidrettslag's corner, it was just that Chesthair Eagles FC's Ørjan Heien managed to reach the ball for a save. Ørjan Heien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Are Haaland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincent McVean who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Ren Bur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Vincent McVean took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ren Bur to make any attempt to save it. In the 45th minute, Ewan Rieu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ewan Rieu to strike the kick off in the second half. Ren Bur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Manni in the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 54 minutes, Ståle Rossebø managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chesthair Eagles FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ståle Rossebø was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ren Bur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Stensen, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Zac Birbauer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ørjan Heien having to make a save. Ørjan Heien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lei Ning in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Chesthair Eagles FC booed when Skytta Toppidrettslag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steffen Schlenz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Ewan Rieu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ørjan Heien was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 73 minutes into the game, Ståle Rossebø cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ren Bur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Skytta Toppidrettslag's Raphael Ceresso was substituted for Zac Birbauer. Krister Nordmo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Chesthair Eagles FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
