Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Hans-Cees Hommes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayen's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans-Cees Hommes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricky Boerma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Ziek FC defense, Floris Pragt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricky Boerma. The Ziek FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricky Boerma should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute Hans-Cees Hommes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricky Boerma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Ziek FC got a freekick which was hit by Johan Kuijsten. Hans-Cees Hommes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky Boerma having to interfere. If Hans-Cees Hommes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute of the match Jouke Temen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricky Boerma skillfully saved the ball. Ferry Groten hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Andy Zwartkruis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Floris Blaauwgeers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricky Boerma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Floris Blaauwgeers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricky Boerma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steve Cornelisse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Ayen were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marinus Korfs made a kick off. If Steve Cornelisse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ziek FC booed when Ayen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert-Jan de Witte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franck Vorenkamp was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bob Davids showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marinus Korfs in the 66th minute of the match. Floris Pragt hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Bob Davids took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marinus Korfs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hans-Cees Hommes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky Boerma having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Ziek FC got a freekick which was hit by Ferry Groten. In the 76th minute, Andy Zwartkruis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ziek FC's Ricky Boerma didn't even have to move. In the 80th minute, Steve Cornelisse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bob Davids was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bob Davids stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marinus Korfs's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Steve Cornelisse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Bob Davids tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Floris Blaauwgeers struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Ricky Boerma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ayen. Steve Cornelisse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Davids having to interfere.
