Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ronald Bosz made the kick off which started today's match. Bas Hanekamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frits Hebels having to interfere. Appeltern HC's attack was well implemented in the 16th minute, but when Menno Bogaard was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 24th minute Ronald Bosz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Robben saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Menno Bogaard might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mark Robben. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Menno Bogaard ran back to his position shaking his head. Appeltern HC's Frits Hebels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard van Zwieten in the 36th minute of play. Frits Hebels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bas Hanekamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gerard van Zwieten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nick Ellerman's late challenge caught a Hoogedijk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nick Ellerman helped the player get up and apologised. Nick Ellerman kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Ronald Bosz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Frits Hebels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bas Hanekamp in the 54th minute of the match. Mark Robben made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Menno Bogaard in the 58th minute of play. Mark Robben made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Houwing in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Appeltern HC booed when Hoogedijk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cobus Weerd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronald Bosz might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mark Robben. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronald Bosz ran back to his position shaking his head. Mark Robben showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menno Bogaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Ronald Bosz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Menno Bogaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Bas Hanekamp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Appeltern HC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hoogedijk for a fine match.
