Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gerjan Zijden started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Gerjan Zijden fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buggenem FC's protests and gave Gerjan Zijden a yellow card for diving instead. Gerjan Zijden kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. If Jean-Paul Adams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 10 minutes, Gerjan Zijden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buggenem FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerjan Zijden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harold Schoonderwoerd hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute of the match, Wim Swart got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wilco Buckinx was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Jean-Paul Adams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ruben Scheepstra fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wijlre's protests and gave Ruben Scheepstra a yellow card for diving instead. 32 minutes into the game, one of Wijlre:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Stijn Staarman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Buggenem FC's Wilco Buckinx got control of the ball when Yorrick Huiting tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Emil de Vlieger came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Wijlre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil de Vlieger couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean-Paul Adams was the one to do the kick off. Yorrick Huiting recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jean-Paul Adams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Buggenem FC's Harm Dekkers got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute Yorrick Huiting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilco Buckinx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jean-Paul Adams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harold Schoonderwoerd hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 73rd play minutes Jean-Paul Adams shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Wilco Buckinx and just under the crossbar into goal. Wilco Buckinx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yorrick Huiting went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Wilco Buckinx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yorrick Huiting in the 91st minute of play. When Yorrick Huiting came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Wijlre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yorrick Huiting couldn't finish the play. Gerrit Kaptein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Martin Geerdink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98thth minute of the game Gerjan Zijden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wijlre's Martin Geerdink was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Buggenem FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Wijlre.
