Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emiel Buckinx took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Cees Koops fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wiene SC's protests and gave Cees Koops a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Stryp FC booed when Wiene SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cees Koops didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Stryp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matthijs Schutrups came free, but Rogier van Zwieten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12thth minute of the game Emiel Buckinx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wiene SC's Harmen Dongen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Rein Zuid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th match minute, Wiene SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ed Paas to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Emiel Buckinx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harmen Dongen was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Jan Wilson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harmen Dongen having to interfere. Victor Hoogenkamp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rogier van Zwieten having to make a save. Matthijs Schutrups sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rick Otten fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wiene SC's protests and gave Rick Otten a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wiene SC! Harmen Dongen went to the wrong direction when Otto Zandberg was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The supporters of Wiene SC booed when Stryp FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Meerdink didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Wilson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Harmen Dongen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matthijs Schutrups made a kick off. When Guus Kleiker fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stryp FC's protests and gave Guus Kleiker a yellow card for diving instead. Guus Kleiker hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Wiene SC's Roy Ranzijn tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jan Wilson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harmen Dongen having to interfere. Emiel Buckinx was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Stryp FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 72 minutes, Kelvin van Steensel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wiene SC and the Stryp FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Stryp FC booed when Wiene SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kelvin van Steensel didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 74th minute of the match Kelvin van Steensel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kelvin van Steensel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Wiene SC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Kelvin van Steensel hit a great ball. Wiene SC were furious when Roy Ranzijn was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wiene SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Emiel Buckinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiel Buckinx in the 87th minute of play forced Wiene SC's goalkeeper Harmen Dongen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ed Paas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wiene SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ed Paas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogier van Zwieten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Stryp FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
