Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tommie van der Linden got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Veere FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gijs Alferink hit a great ball. After 8 minutes of play, Ritsamuzijl's Mark Broekema made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucien Piening was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Tommie van der Linden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Veere FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommie van der Linden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joris Asselbergs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommie van der Linden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute Mark Broekema shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Piening saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Marinus Grol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ritsamuzijl's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Veere FC the free kick. After 24 played minutes Ritsamuzijl got a freekick which was hit by Marinus Grol. Lucien Piening made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Broekema in the 29th minute of play. The Ritsamuzijl fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Ritsamuzijl's Floris Hooiveld looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Ritsamuzijl's Koos Busch got a free kick in the 38th minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Floris Hooiveld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ritsamuzijl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Floris Hooiveld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute Floris Hooiveld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Piening saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veere FC's Lucien Piening played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Broekema in the 49th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Floris Hooiveld made a kick off. John de Bruin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joris Asselbergs having to interfere. Joris Asselbergs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland van Hintum in the 55th minute of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Veere FC's goalkeeper Lucien Piening, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucien Piening made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Broekema in the 72nd minute. The Ritsamuzijl players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
