Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joeri Kosterman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Frank Driel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Izaak Apotheker having to interfere. Boxum FC's Izaak Apotheker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Driel in the 7th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Joeri Kosterman notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Moerslag HC's Jouke Luirink. Jouke Luirink was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Jurre Rueda sped through Moerslag HC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jouke Luirink. Frank Driel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Driel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Izaak Apotheker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Henk Klok struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Izaak Apotheker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moerslag HC. In the 29th match minute, Boxum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Barels to maneuver through the defense. Henk Klok fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Izaak Apotheker having to interfere. Izaak Apotheker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Driel in the 38th minute of the match. Jouke Luirink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jurre Rueda in the 42nd minute of the match. Jurre Rueda took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jouke Luirink. Jouke Luirink dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After the first half Boxum FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Driel made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Moerslag HC got a corner. Boxum FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Harmen Nedergaard ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Moerslag HC's Harmen Nedergaard to fire away a dangerous shot which Izaak Apotheker despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jurre Rueda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jouke Luirink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Moerslag HC's Frank Driel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Izaak Apotheker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 63 minutes of play, Moerslag HC's Henk Klok made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Izaak Apotheker was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donny Teuws during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Boxum FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Donny Teuws hit a great ball. When Jaap Greef fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boxum FC's protests and gave Jaap Greef a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Boxum FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaap Greef. Gerard Kroeze charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerard Kroeze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gerard Kroeze hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Joeri Kosterman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jurre Rueda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Moerslag HC got a freekick which was hit by Wilfred Hulscher. After having played for 82 minutes, Joeri Kosterman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boxum FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joeri Kosterman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joeri Kosterman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jouke Luirink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jouke Luirink was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Jurre Rueda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jurre Rueda really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. When the match was over Boxum FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Moerslag HC throughout the match.
