But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harold Sparnaaij couldn't finish the play. Jacobus Cuperus made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Coenraad Schimmel sent off a good shot on target. Harold Sparnaaij received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jan-Willem Iepstra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Zwarteklef's Huub Schokkenbroek got a free kick in the 44th minute. Kalisbuurt HC's Sipke Klerk couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Zwarteklef. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

If Laurens Knops had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bart Hoekstra did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Jan-Willem Iepstra 54 minutes into the match. Jacobus Cuperus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denny Oss's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Jacobus Cuperus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denny Oss in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Denny Oss had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobus Cuperus. Kalisbuurt HC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denny Oss was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 77 minutes in the game, Laurens Knops fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jan-Willem Iepstra having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Zwarteklef's Sjoerd Pietersma got a free kick in the 85th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Coenraad Schimmel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zwarteklef's supporters crossed their fingers, but Coenraad Schimmel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Willem Iepstra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurens Knops's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. A collision led to Zwarteklef getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Sjoerd Pietersma hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kalisbuurt HC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
